We relaunched in August 2023 as a rebranded statewide entity - energized and excited to build with our members a united community here in Florida.
We have undergone significant reorganizations on both state and international levels, enabling us to offer enhanced resources, better development opportunities and greater value to our members.
Our Progress
- Rebranded with a new name, website (IABCFlorida.com), and look
- Merged local chapters into a unified statewide entity, dedicated to developing Florida's communications professionals
- Reestablished social media communications under the new name
- Advanced strategy and planning for programming and networking - virtual and in-person.
- Opened opportunities for volunteers who want to help as we move ahead

About IABC Florida
IABC Florida is the statewide chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. We represent professional communicators across the state, including those in the cities of Miami, Tampa, Orlando and Jacksonville - as well as professionals located in all areas in between.
Our members include corporate communications, internal communications, social media and public relations professionals from large companies, small businesses, communications agencies, nonprofit organizations and government agencies, in addition to freelancers, sole practitioners and consultants. As professional communicators, they aspire to excel and to help organizations achieve their goals through communications.
Our chapter hosts professional development meetings, hands-on workshops and networking mixers open to members, non-members and students. IABC is a not-for-profit international network of 15,000 communication professionals in over 80 countries committed to improving the effectiveness of organizations through strategic, integrated business communication management.
